Anna Church is a New Zealand-born artist based in Toronto, Canada. Previously a freelance interior stylist and graphic designer, Anna Church did not embark on an artistic career until 2012.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Impermanence series was inspired by the zebra and its wavering presence in the wild. She connects this to the idea of women’s evolving role in society. Anna Church calls herself a sculptographer (a sculptor and photographer) as she styles props, plants and taxidermy animals then photographs them to create her art prints.
